A fresh news brand covering the latest news from Medway, the UK and the world has been launched today.

Invicta News will be run by final year undergraduates in the Centre as part of their coursework, serving audiences online, on social media, on radio and television.

With a logo based on Kent's white horse - a symbol that the Men of Kent were undefeated in 1066 - the website made a bold start, with in-depth coverage of coronavirus, the US election and local politics.

It also has foreign affairs bureaus in Lithuania and France - with its first day including a live Instagram report on the coronavirus crisis from the seafront in Nice.

Bookmark the website and follow its social media profiles for all the best news, sport, features and opinion from the Centre for Journalism.
