I love binge watching TV series. Last year I binge watched all seven seasons of Game of Thrones in one week. I actually sacrificed a lot of my sleep and food in order to do this, but binge-watching is one those things falls into the classic saying of 'once you start it's hard to stop' and binge-watching is very hard to stop. I'll tell myself one more episode and then go to bed, but before I know it's 3 am in the morning and I've watched about 4 more episodes.
My latest binge-watch (as you can clearly tell from the title) was Jessica Jones season 2.
I am so angry right now as I was just about to insert another picture to finish writing my blog this stupid website to take me to another website and delete almost everything that I had written so excuse me while I crawl up in my bed and decide whether I can actually be bothered to do this all over again.
So I am back from questioning why stuff like this always happens to me and have decided I am not going to write this blog all over again. Instead in the spirit of Easter and sacrificing yourself for others, I have decided to be a good Samaritan and write about how I lost my blog and how you can avoid this happening to you.
So let me set the scene for you: I had finished typing my blog up about which characters and situations annoyed me the most in the most recent season of Jessica Jones, when I stupidly decided that I should another picture to my blog for visual purposes. When I clicked on the picture and dragged it into the text box like I usually do, suddenly I saw my laptop start refreshing (I should have known I was doomed then) before I knew it was then taken to this stupid website https://www.gq.com/story/jessica-jones-eka-darville-interview (just in case you want to check out the interview the Devil used to completely ruin my day)
When this happened a part of me started to panic, but I decided to be optimistic and assumed that the CFJ website had saved my work *SPOILER ALERT* It didn't LOL XD. I clicked on the back button to find the majority of my work was gone. So here are my two top tips, I've come up with in hindsight to stop YOU from becoming a victim to this when writing your blog post.
1. Write your blog post in Microsoft word or on Google docs so that way your work will actually be saved if there is some tragic accident. Then when you are done writing your blog post copy and paste into the text box on this website, but if you don't want to do this just press the blue save button
2. Don't drag pictures into the textbox like I did, just copy and paste them instead. This way you won't have your day completely ruined by a GQ article.
So there you have it, by the way before I go I've been struggling to figure out why my font has changed all of a sudden. I'm just happy my blog is still here at this point so I'll just ignore that before the Devil decides to delete it again.
