Happy International Women's Day from AMMPE!

What is AMMPE you ask? It's the Worldwide Association for Women Writers and Journalists (the acronym is in Spanish). And we've got exciting news for you. The Centre for Journalism is going to be one of 4 host organisations for the upcoming XXIII World Congress of AMMPE in November 6-9. This event will bring together over 150 journalists and writers from all over the world to discuss the challenges and opportunites that face our industries. Our students will get a chance to meet world renowed journalists and writers, as well as help out during the conference.

AWESOME 360 VIDEO OPPORTUNITY - apply by Monday 19th Feb at 5pm

The Centre has been offered the incredible opportunity to cover the Table Tennis World Cup in London next Friday the 23rd of February. We have been asked to produce a short 360 video about the event. 

Our lecturer Laura Garcia is looking for TWO ASSISTANTS to help plan, shoot and edit this project.
