Travel grant for aspiring radio journalists (!!!!)

All you aspiring Hemingways and Graham Greenes...here's your chance. 
 
Every year, in partnership with BBC Radio 4, the Royal Geographical Society give someone £5,000 to make their dream journey – anywhere in the world – and record their adventure for a Radio 4 documentary.
 
They are looking for aspiring journalists with a passion for radio who are excited about finding new ways to tell original stories in sound. Past recipients have gone to the South Pacific, Mexico, India and Sierra Leone, to mention just a few.

Various broadcasters have approached CfJ asking for students to help cover the General Election overnight on the 8th of June. Interested?

1st years, 2nd years, 3rd years and MAs can all apply to help!

Byline Festival - The World's First Festival Of Journalism is looking for volunteers!

Byline Festival will feature many great journalists and is partnered by NUJ, The Press Association and the Frontline Club, who will be recreating their world famous bar at the festival. With three big tent discussions and a special workshop programme for student journalists this will be a great event - but it doesn't stop there.
