The Guardian is inviting applications for its Editorial Work Experience scheme for next year.
They take people in 15 different sections - so this is a great opportunity to get experience on a national publication and also explore a potential specialism.

The BBC's Today programme has launched some awards for student journalists - put your applications in! There's a wide range of categories and the deadline is the end of August.
