Guardian Editorial Work Experience 2019

 

The Guardian is inviting applications for its Editorial Work Experience scheme for next year. 

They take people in 15 different sections - so this is a great opportunity to get experience on a national publication and also explore a potential specialism. 

The deadline is Friday 7th December 2018.

Reporting suicide and World Mental Health Day

 

We were talking about mental health and reporting suicide in the MA conference today and I thought I'd share these links in case you have not seen them.

Press officer job

 

Medway Council are looking for someone to help in the press office for a few months and it is possible this could turn in to a permanent job.

Key responsibilities will be "dealing with media enquiries from journalists, writing press releases and monitoring social media".

Today Student Journalism Awards 2018
