Hi all, I was at CFJ until the summer. I originally applied for the Daily Mail's trainee scheme (closes in Feb) but now work at MailOnline. Their own trainee scheme closes on the 26th October. http://sandsmediaservices.blogspot.com/2018/10/mailonline-recruiting-tra... All i can say is that it is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to work for a company which can still afford to invest in you.
Supervisors for the Year 3 journalism projects are as in the table below.
Remember that it is the student's responsibility to set up appointments with their supervisor. You should arrange to see them at the earliest opportunity.
Looking forward to seeing lots of old and new faces tomorrow night (215 at the latest count) at The Deep End for our celebration of the Centre for Journalism's first decade.
If you haven't yet registered to attend, just head to our Eventbrite event page - that way you won't miss out on the free glass of fizz. The fun starts at 7.
And I also hear that @Robert_Bailey_ is preparing a journalism-themed playlist for his Karaoke offering on the night, starting of course with The Beatles' Here Comes The Sun. Add your own suggestions at #cfj10. The more obscure the better.
And finally, just for the avoidance of doubt next week, remember that what goes on in the Deep End, stays in the Deep End...
Years 2s - don't forget you have an NCTJ Law session on Wednesday October 10th in Room M2-28 from 2 - 4pm. This replaces your Friday morning session because of your court visit.
